newborn preview | last one of the year

We're closing up the year with this sweet little one's preview. Packard behaved so well, slept almost the whole thing through. It was so sweet to see momma's lady friends drool over his cuteness during the shoot. ( Thank you guys for all your help! ) Here is a couple of my favorites, enjoy all the baby cuddles.

I can't believe that next year is tomorrow. It sure went by so quickly. I've had the greatest experiences with my clients. Looking back I can pinpoint my favorite... my first birth session with Kenneth and Sarah. I remember being so nervous towards what to expect. How I was going to react to witnessing a birth... and now I probably can jump in with the nurses and help in any way possible. That session kicked off my love for birth sessions. I am looking forward to a year with many more of them. Tomorrow I will embark in a new project that I will share further news about soon. Thanks to all my wonderful clients for making it such an exciting year!

sister sister | family session preview

These two have something that I always wanted. A sister. Not that I'm fussing about my brother, but there are things that you always want to do or talk about with your girlfriends. Brie and Ali are very fortunate to have each other. Our session happened to be on such a chilly afternoon, it was hard to smile without chattering your teeth. I had lots of fun with the girls and their mom at the park. Enjoy your picture presents girls!

I've been enjoying my family's visit... they will be here 'till next week. So, if you have a shoot coming up, there might be a guest assistant coming along. Enjoy your weekend everyone!

first time momma | Maternity Session Preview

I was so excited for this shoot once I met with the mom to be... she had lots of ideas to try out during her shoot. I love it when my clients also have a creative edge. I'm so glad that Jess wanted to do some artistic shots along with the more casual look. She is such a beautiful momma! Jess you look great in all the pictures, thanks again for letting me post!!

In this baby boy season, one of the first questions I ask the moms that come to me for any kind of session is, "Do you know what you are having?" 87 percent of them have said, "baby boy" and about 3 percent say, "they aren't finding out". 100 percent of those that chose not to find out, turned out being a boy. I believe that if you want to have a little boy you might want to come talk to me first because I seem to bring on the baby boy charm. Haha. These parents are expecting a little boy ( not surprised huh? ) and it's their first child. How exciting! I love little boys, so don't get me wrong with my whole statistic figures. If and when I have a child, I would love to have a little boy... simply because I want him to love me more than James [ just like Coco ] ( sorry babe, you know it's true ).

I spoke to soon last time with the whole catching up business. The holidays always seem to bring on more pressure, feels like crunch time 'all the time'. So, whats been going on with me? Lots and lots of work, editing mainly and trying to get ready for my family's visit by the end of the week. It's going to be so nice to have them here!

MK senior session preview

Meet MK. This was such a memorable session... for some reason, I was in a big dancing mood that day. Poor MK had to deal with me and my Shakira mood... (by the way I'm actually listening to her new cd right now... what a coincidence). My dancing was kinda contagious because I think we all ended up in some kind of hip shaking. Here are some of my favorites from our day together... (that first one being my favorite). I AM CATCHING UP... yay! I don't feel so overwhelmed anymore. I know it won't last but I am celebrating now. Let's see if the weather decides to cooperate with me this week and my shoots. The rain already messed me up today... tomorrow shall be a brighter day. I can't believe it's December already. Whew! This year has flown by. I'm ready for 2010. I just like the sound of it. Right around the corner...

where have you been?

I know my blog probably hates me right now... feels neglected and abandoned. These past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind. I haven't posted any recent work because it's been crunch time with all my editing. Getting sick when your super busy doesn't help either. But I promise to catch up all the lovely sessions I have done. I want to thank all my wonderful clients again for their patience... you have been so understanding and I am so grateful. Since I don't like to post without a picture or something like that - I wanted to show you a preview of an upcoming movie that I am looking forward to. You may already know how I am a sucker for romantic chick flicks but also for novels turned movies. This comes from the author of the Notebook and so many other amazing stories, Nicholas Sparks. Perfect for date night. And the next one... well just more lovey dovey goodness.
